I don't think it would make any measurable difference. This scale is clearly tempered with. There is no way he had 2kg or even 2 pounds of gas in him.

@Fishy the fart would push down on the scale, but also lift you up with equal force, so that should cancel each other out. Then it's only the weight of the gas that disperses across the room that makes you lighter.
