You know what, we are all going to die from something.

I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2023 after having a biopsy. They sent me for C-T scans and MRI scans. It showed a lump on my adrenal gland. Had surgery to remove that gland and it was also cancerous. They sent the results to the Mayo Clinic and they said it was a completely different type of cancer. And then sent me for a endometrial biopsy because it looked suspicious. It was negative, but trying to develop cancer as well. They did genetic testing and couldn’t find a genetic link for any of the cancers. I believe it was from what was in the public water supply. I lived on one side of the city that used well water and lived there almost 10 years. That water was tested and it came back as being high in arsenic, the second highest in the country. Then a few years after moving out of that apartment the water was tested and found to be very high in chromium hexavalent, once again near the top of the nation. And a little over a year ago they found chromium-6 in the water. We received a letter a few months ago saying some of the homes in this area were found to have lead in the water. All of those metals are carcinogenic. I have been buying filtered water for about 15 years now. Do you think I should believe that I did something to deserve these cancers?
@cherokeepatti That is scary. Nobody deserves to get cancer. I couldn't even imagine. I hope the owners of that complex paid for your treatment.

@PromiseProtectionProvision No of course they wouldn’t pay, thousands of students and others lived in that district back during that time. It was university property. It was the students demanding that the results of the water tests be made public and they finally did after they put a story on the front page of the campus newspaper. The arsenic is from what used to be cotton field farms on the west side of the city. They used a pesticide containing arsenic to spray the cotton to kill the boll weevils.
