Older people intimidate me tbfh

We're just like you but really tired

Don’t worry, as you get older there will be less people older than you about.

Define "old".. and.. why? Honestly? Old people deserve respect for dealing with many things in life longer than younger people, for their wisdom, but often when I talk to an older person, I realize that there is no reason to feel intimidated; we are very much alike, just one has more experience than the other. In fact when we get old we are still the same but have learned a little more from life, in general. That's all. So listening to older people about their lives and advices is interesting. Some of them can help you deal with things in current life, even if the circumstances change.. the lessons seem to remain the same across time for most. Anyway, next time, remember that old person was also your age at some point ^^. Somewhere in there that version of them is still present. You could ask how they were when they were your age what they liked.. it may be totally different from your tastes but still, it can break the ice :). Ofc not all people are kind and jolly... you pick the ones you like :D sometimes we think an older person could seem uninterested in things we like until .. surprisingly they turn out very vibrant and similar despite the age gap. You never know, so it is nice to keep an open mind ^^.

I just ignore them. They are the same as humans. Let them bark and we continue life. It's a both win all we care.
