@ArishMell I work for the state so doubtful. But the more I think about it they might have been trying to use psychology so nobody gets hurt since one side opens to a stairwell

The quickly side is so they on guard for the door opening into the stairs

And the slowly side is so they don’t push it hard since they figure it’s going to go slowly anyway
