Why is it surprising and adorable when

This happens: I asked my husband if he was tired? He would not admit to it. He said, " I just need to lay down for about ten minutes." So , I sat for about 10 minutes, and then I heard the snoring. Haha I don't know why I find this so endearing!!!! Now I know, duh, he's tired! so I better let him rest, go ahead and turn off the lights, and do my very best not to wake him.
