So, Thursdays are little prep/cleaning days at work.

It’s a 10am-3pm shift for me, but lately it’s been 10am-12 or 1pm shift because our food truck would come early enough for us to hit it and get it when it came to the list.

I was asked to come in at 9am this morning to help out and possibly leave even sooner than I’m used to. That was an easy “Shyeah”.

Got here at 9 just to hear the truck hadn’t arrived yet. No biggie. Went ahead and did what I could with no problem. But then noon rolled along and still no truck. I suggested texted our usual guy and it turns out it’s not him today. It’s a different guy. A guy who has us sitting here at 2pm scrolling on our phones as we get paid to wait. I wasn’t built to wait, but here I are. Scrolling and waiting while being paid. …almost makes me feel like I have a corporate job 😁

Anywho. Came across these and sort of dug them.



On a side note, I wish I would’ve charged my phone last night 😩
