Identifying Story tellers.
People who lie or exaggerate the truth, they can easily be identified. You may see them in friends, relatives or colleagues.
At work one worker hates working where he's at. He bad mouths the company "Once a guy worked in here 12 hours alone." Ok, no security guards are allowed t work at any gatehouses alone with the exception of one of them, but he was on about where we were currently located. On top if u forget t sign in but colleague had, the Book on team will call the colleague to ask if yer alone or is somebody there? Colleague will then state if they are alone or not? Book on team will call within 30 minutes of u signing in.
Another guy from agency pops along and says "Their was a Polish guy and he got told he's being monitored. The Polish guy gets a ladder, climbs up towards the CCTV and rips it out. Barehands! He then puts it before the guy in front and says 'There you go.' The Polish guy got thumbs up n respect from there on."
People always love to exaggerate or tell a story. Maybe the Polish guy story is true? But then am sure he would have got fired or Disciplinary action, not respect or thumbs up from the Senior Security.
Although it's difficult t pinpoint the liars there are a few hints or clues. First they speak out in a matter of factly way. Second they bang on about stories, full of it. Finally they yell and speed up speaking more than talking normal.
I guess if u hear someone chatting bob... take it with a grain of salt.
