Yes, four grade through 8th grade and averaged getting swatted nine different times each year. Now 9th grade through 12th only once was I sent to the principal's office because a male teacher thought he could grab my arm and threaten me, I turned and squared off with him as I yanked my arm out of his grasp. (Let me tell you when your father beats you bloody as discipline no other man will ever touch me), two years later I stopped my father beating me myself as well. The principle knew my story and let the football and wrestling coaches to come up with a discipline for me. That teacher got the do not touch especially this kid unless you want hurt speech from the principle.
So, yes, and punished for what I deserved when I deserved it, and once and the last time because I was getting bigger and stronger and able to end the abuse myself.

@soar2newhighs We never had that let's settle it in the gym crap. What I had was a teacher that thought he could physically grab and yank me around shit, and I was not taking that from any man as an angry abused teen without hurting said man period.
@WillaKissing I hear you. IMO, someone needs to deal with a student,
short of stopping something that warranted such a physical action, the person better not touch the student I’m long out of school but that’s how I feel.

Yes, I was involved in an "act of insurrection" at the end of year 9 which started with a group of us barricading ourselves in the gym and ended up with a girl being pushed into the swimming pool 🥺

Yes once and would have been expelled if the whole school hadnt demonstrated outside his office supporting my actions . I saw red and broke both a guys arms and legs after he had been goading me for over a week .

@Entwistle No snowballs was against the rules. A few friends of mine and I got into a snowball fight and got the strap as a result. The principle who gave us the strap cried. We didn't.
