His hair is soooo thick that even in the warm months its almost impossible to find the pig through it.
@NightsWatch Bless you for contributing your time and energy into rescue. 🌷 I know well that it's a rewarding task, but it's also one filled with sights most people don't have the heart to experience. I've seen things I'd rather not seen no matter the compassion for animals I have. It changed the way I view humanity and humans as a whole.
@4meAndyou not this one personally. Many of our rescues come through several hands in the process of transportation. As most pet rescues do not have the resources to handle pigs we get them from all kinds of places . Sometimes government, surrendered, escapes, abuse.
Some have birth defects.
Almost all have been abused, shot, dog attacks, starved to stay small, etc.
