Hell, all 16 Republican Congresspeople voted against the very bill that would supply their state with funding. One Senator did as well and one didn't show up to vote. I wonder if that means they'll refuse the money? You know, like EVERY Conservative screaming and whining about "Socialists" returned the money from the Covid Relief Bill. That happened, right? I mean, it's not like more Red states rely on government funding than blue states, right? Oh. Wait. They do. There's a small, insensitive part of me that wants to say "Fuck Florida. You're on your own." That's not right, because people are suffering, but I just wish there were some consequences for the actions of politicians.

Nothing wrong with a U. S. Governor asking for aid after a devastating event from his own government despite political and states vs. federal government. If the administration we have now was more concerned about its own people and country, rather than sucking up to illegals for hopeful votes, these governors might not need to seek aid.
