I get a lot of laughs looking through things for sale on FB Marketplace. One yesterday was a huge block of wood from a tree saying it was nice and dry and they used it mainly for camping. They could help you load it into your car. I'm like... you put that huge block of wood in your car when you go camping? Hilarious.
Today I found a real gem. A basically brand new car, 2025 with 1900km on it, and they want $22,500 cad for it. Seems like a steal until you see the picture.
@RedBaron I have bought and sold a ton of stuff on there. There are some whacko's so you have to be careful, and it seems some people are overly cautious as a result, but lots of nice normal people too. Can buy $400 wood working tools, used a couple of times for $50. I got a central vacuum for free, works great.
@whowasthatmaskedman For sure that has been written off. The insurance company lets you buy it back to fix yourself or part it out, but it cannot be driven again until repaired and inspected, which I bet would cost a lot more than $22,500, so you get to buy the car again after buying it. ;)
