Well it seems they did the right thing because you wouldn't know you were blocked unless you tried to access their profile. lol

And remember, newbies in their first week on SW are overwhelmed by learning how to navigate the site. Part of getting used to SW is learning who is who, and that takes repeated visits to profiles to remind a newcomer of who you are among this crowd of strangers. I got blocked by a suspicious Pro who might've become a friend once I had a better lay of the land and stopped forgetting who she was.

I really don't understand the repeat profile block unless they are harassing you on your posts, comments and replies.

Profiles purpose is to know users better.

Look at it as they done you a favour.

Some people have vip and Can see who is lurking on their profile

Most of them don't understand that when they block you they just did you a favor.

So, were you lurking?

Some people think they are way more important than they truly are.

That sounds a tad paranoid, lol.
