As a boomer who's worked in IT forever I do recall working on the antiquated '286' PCs with cathode ray tubes for monitors. My idea of an ancient grandpa type computer would go all the way back to the Jurassic era 5in floppy drives. I must be getting old. From what I understand some Minuteman nuclear missile silos still use those 5in floppy discs in their launch computers. Now that's ancient as hell, but still works!
