That looks staged to give pro-Palestine protesters a bad name, just like those people dressed in all black going in after the main protests end and destroying stuff.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@NerdyPotato lol nope, not staged. Hungry Howie's even had her involuntarily institutionalized. She got out two days later. Typical drug addict behavior.
NerdyPotato · M
@DeluxedEdition ok, that explains it too. Hopefully people will not confuse this with an actual pro-Palestine supporter though.

@NerdyPotato my brother in christ 😂 all these protestors give eachother bad names!
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@NerdyPotato if I'm being honest I doubt she could even identify palestine on a map
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@tenente yes, they do. I hope no one took this post the wrong way lol that was more less the message I was trying to portray
NerdyPotato · M
@tenente the pro-Israel ones maybe. I've yet to see a genuine pro-Palestine protestor do anything other than just stand there and shout some things, at least before being attacked by police or counter-protestors. (Yes, after that it gets a bit violent, but that happens after any attack in any situation.)

be careful my dude 😂 there's not many stars on either side of this conflict lol
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@tenente yeah, it's very sad. I'm not on any side. I wish the war would end. anyone supporting sides imo is politically motivated. I am on the side of humanity. We should be focused on bettering the world economy and recovering from covid's economic devastation, and inflation. Not killing each other or supporting killing each other.
NerdyPotato · M
@tenente the ones protesting a genocide without causing harm are a star in my opinion. I've heard that's extreme nowadays, but so be it.
NerdyPotato · M
@DeluxedEdition I'm on humanity's side as well. That means stopping the genocide and apartheid. Not being on anyone's side allows that to continue, meaning you're on the side of the oppressor. There is no neutral side here. Although an important nuance: I'm pro-Palestinian freedom, not pro-Hamas or in favor of the tactics Hamas uses. And I'm pro-Israelian freedom within their own borders too, but they don't seem to be able to stay within those.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@NerdyPotato You do realize both sides are at war right? Palestine isn't innocent. Two wrongs don't make a right. And yes, there is a neutral side. Life isn't black and white. If it is that's because you're seeing it that way. You having an opinion isn't going to make the war end. I'm sorry that just isn't realistic thinking at all. The war most likely is politically and economically motivated. That's a lot larger than you and I or anyone having an opinion on the matter.
NerdyPotato · M
@DeluxedEdition Palestine indeed isn't innocent and I already said I don't support the tactics of Hamas. I also agree that two wrongs don't make a right. But Palestine is allowed to defend itself against Israel's decades long invasion and oppression. Israel is allowed to defend itself against that defense too, but not by destroying everyone and everything in the region. That's not defense.
So what do you consider a neutral side? Do you agree that the status quo of letting Israel continue displacing Palestinians like during every "peace period" in the last 80 years is not neutral?
