There's a great series of YouTube videos where people take their vehicles to be repaired and the Mechanics issue a statement

One example was from a lady who heard crunching noises every time she put the clutch in to change gear.
Turns out boyfriend eats chips often when he borrows her car at lunchtime and the noise was from spilled chips in the footweld under the floor mat 馃檮
