When your car won't make that noise for the mechanic

There's a great series of YouTube videos where people take their vehicles to be repaired and the Mechanics issue a statement
[i]Customer states.....[/i] only for the Mechanic to discover some truly stupid owner behaviour.

One example was from a lady who heard crunching noises every time she put the clutch in to change gear.
Turns out boyfriend eats chips often when he borrows her car at lunchtime and the noise was from spilled chips in the footweld under the floor mat 🙄

I think it’s like “white coat syndrome” when people are afraid of doctors.

not just the noise theres never any issues when u bring it to the mechanic so you get the “we couldnt replicate the issue” line

so true !!!
that's when the mechanic insists on taking everything apart just to try and make it make the noise !
