I had a Scout Leader that grew up in the 70's and liked teaching us some of the games he did as a kid:

It chasey. One person is it has to run and catch the others. When they catch one the gang up on the others till their all caught.

Brandy, same as It chasey only there is only one It person at a time and you use a ball to throw at one another so the fat kid can catch someone.

Balloon stomp. use a foot of string to tie a balloon to each ankle. The last one to still have a balloon, wins. (what could go wrong)

Flame-o soccer. Played like regular soccer only the ball is made out of chicken wire with a bit of rag in the centre, soaked in kerosene and lit on fire!

Kick the bucket: Holding hands form a circle around a bucket. If a person touches the bucket in any way they are out of the circle. Keep going (till someone dies.)

There were other games but I was too concussed to remember them.

@Thevy29 dodgeball was always fun in school; of course, we didn't have these soft/foam balls like they used nowadays, we used whatever we already had... soccer balls, basketballs, kickballs, etc.

bonus points if you completely wiped someone out... 😅
