When companies say " no one wants to work here anymore!"

Believe it or not I have managers like this. We only have three people that do things correctly and there was a few who had experience with other things just not my job but close to it and they didn't hire them. They hired a few people with experience but ended up to be not the kind of intelligence needed for the job.

I used to be a hiring manager in my last job and was helping with my current company and my supervisor joined the second interview and didn't want to hire them because they didn't have enough extra curriculars on their resume. This is entry level taking from a school but omg the person is obviously a culture fit and you're upset they didn't put more frivolous shit on their resume lol.

@Turtlepower I think the funniest job ad I've ever seen was in 1996. The company in question insisted that potential employees have at least 10 years' experience with Windows 95.

@Turtlepower That's why I'm beginning to be a nihilist regarding our whole society. I don't wish destruction but at the same time, people not finding employees is their own fault. That's why when the news talks about the great resignation I'm like yeah but bosses doing it to themselves, not sure I feel bad exactly.
