Possibly he could’ve if he’d taken Cuban migrants from his own state. But for some reason he was more focused on Central and South American migrants in Texas, where Ian didn’t hit.
But yes, I’m sure Florida taxpayers, especially the ones who voted for him, could’ve used the break up north.
