Have you ever doubted your sexual orientation? How do you know you're gay, straight or whatever?

I think this is pretty normal for most people. Not everyone though :) People also often deny those feelings I think.

I went through a period of doubt just before my divorce. I did a lot of reading on the subject of gender and orientation preference and slowly came to the realisation that my real preferences aren't what I thought they were. When I was younger, I had convinced myself that I was like everyone else, because that was the only acceptable option in the culture I was raised in.

No, never doubted. I am one of the lucky few who's gay orientation was not only accepted, but embraced by both mom and dad. They loved some of my boyfriends more than my sisters in fact.

Frankly tbh even the staunchest of followers doubt thier orientation once in thier lives we human biengs are hazrdous complicated creatures that dont hold on to routine

I've always been straight. not into the thought of actually doing it with a female ever. i have a friend that told me he knew he was gay since kindergarten though. he struggled it with a bit though. at first he said he was bi, but I didnt believe him. (I have my reasons.) he was my best friend for a long time, everyone in school thought we were a couple. he was a great friend. though we rarely talk anymore.
