I'm scared and r3tarded

My bf has planned an outing for us. My daughter, him and I to go hang out with his brother and nephew. I'm a little scared because I'm not used to socializing with people much. I don't trust men and idk what to talk about. I'm in an interracial relationship so it can be kind of hard socializing with white people. I've met the brother before but it was very brief. I hope it goes well though. Any advice?
