Do you ever feel like you don't fit in?

I don't mean like you don't fit into a social group or whatever, I mean that you don't fit in with people generally. Like you don't fit in anywhere with anyone, like you're detached from everyone else. Like there's some fundamental inability to connect with others, while connecting with and understanding others around you.

That's not normal, right?

if it's something that bothers the person, it might not be ideal. not sure about what's normal. i feel connections with others everywhere i go. it can be overwhelming at times

@SW-User Sounds like you have the opposite problem. I can feel some sort of connection to others if I know them really well and deeply trust them, but that's about it.

@KiwiDan that's okay. i guess i was wondering if you're looking for general connections, like making friends, or an intimate connection. either way, it seems making friends is a logical first step for you, if you need to have deep trust to connect.

@SW-User I understand. I do have some friends, and I'd love an intimate connection. But people generally IRL are pretty quick to avoid me so I'm not sure it's worth it any more.
