Missing my friend

We met in 2016. he came to meet me and he didn't have the heart to tell me I just wasn't his type. We became very good friends. We talked on the phone at least once a week. I could tell him anything and he could tell me anything. He knew all my secrets and never judge me. He passed away this year not to long ago. I wish I could find someone to vent to again he listen without judgment. Missing my friend.

So sorry about your loss. With such closeness it's like you get to live 2 lives at the same time. Yours and theirs. And they likewise. Soulmates that get to live in one another's head and heart, like a ghost that listened and talked back, a cheerleader with unconditional enthusiasm. Not being his type may have subdued the pretentiousness that goes with the need to impress, leading to something better.

I can imagine the grief with your loss.
