My neighbour is making me crazy

She keeps coming over unannounced when I’m cooking dinner and rings and rings the bell and knocks on the door endlessly. It’s ok once in a while but this is almost every day over the past week. She’s nice enough but I just wish she’d come later and not at dinner time. And not to continue knocking and knocking and ringing the bell for five minutes

I have lived in the same house for 42 years. I have a neighbor that has come over a few times (uninvited) and has hung out for 4-5 hours. Both her and her mom are “ disabled” 🧐 that’s bs. But anyway the last time she came over I just did laundry, cooked myself food and was just borderline rude. I think she got the message. There are givers and takers. They have absolutely nothing to give. In case of an emergency, of course I would help. Otherwise, I’m not falling for the poor pitiful me.

@Jenny1234 it’s just the daughter( she’s 47, same age as my son) not the mom. The mom is 69. They live together and I don’t think they get along. She is just looking for somewhere to escape to.
