Why can’t there be play dates for adults?
I’m at an age where making new friends seems awkward, and yet here we are. How do you go about making new friendships, and what do you hope to get out of them?

No idea. The people I do know seem to meet most people when they go out drinking. But I don't drink and I get uncomfortable around people who are drunk. So I'm sort of blocked out of the world's number one social lubricant.
