I like Ontario is making international headlines....

The supposed country, with less riff than some countries, is using an outdated clause in our charter to squash dissent from educational workers. I know Ford, premier, has some residual baggage from his time as a councillor, owner of a company, handed down in riches, doesn't want to pay out a penny to workers... and hes finally made it clear, I won't negotiate, I never will, I'll use the bully tactic cause I'm rich, born from wealth, and I will just use the clause to order you. It's rather amusing, yet so very shallow and pathetic.

And yet this is too provincial and petty to affect anyone ootside of dere, eh.

@SW-User Says the guy who made the dumb post in the first place, then showed that sarcasm has yet to enter his limited vocabulary.

@RedBaron Trying to show your beautiful right wing lineage? I'll mark your comment best comment for how dumb you are being. Actually forget that, I know what to do with you.

I don't know how I feel about CUPE's demands but I think he is totally misusing the not withstanding clause.

wasn't the premier also former mayor rob fords brother? 🤔
SW-User
@tenente yes, while also a councillor at that time. Whose first act when becoming premeir was to limit the number of city councillors in Toronto. When the city of Toronto asked why are you interfering? He only responded, I will use the notwithstanding clause to order it. The clause has existed for many years now, only one province has invoked it before, and this is his third time. This time taking away collective bargaining rights.
