I'm finding recently that a lot of Americans on this website in particular, are referring to themselves as "Native American" ..because they were born in the USA, as were their parents and grandparents, though Caucasian within their ancestral genetics.
I've come to conclude that most Americans don't know what the term "Native American" actually means, so I'd be interested to see how 'Native American Day' actually pans out for the masses across the USA on Friday!
I wonder if riots will develop?
I wonder if a lot of finger pointing will happen?
Will REAL Native Americans be excluded from the street festivities because of everyone else's misunderstanding of who THEY themselves actually are not?!

@Dreamy2077 That and Indigenous Peoples day (formerly Columbus Day) are days recognized by the tribe I work for as holidays we have off. 😌
