There was a documentary made by the Canadian Film Board which goes into great detail to document this event from start to finish. Because this accident occurred in Canadian waters, it was investigated by Canadian investigators who revealed that non-standard operating procedures had been used which ultimately led to the sinking of this vessel.
Sadly, because it's regional.
