@MrsMONAKanful so its especially sad how most Americans listen to the manufactured political line and then consent to what it says..we are supposed to loathe and disrespect that country because of x Y and z. But most people say (on the other hand) they don't trust "the government".
So why the lockstep agreement MOST OF THE TIME ABOUT EVERYTHING??
The best person here is from that place. My point being that its the people that make up a country, not America's idea of how we are supposed to "see" it. America has a strange manufactured agenda that should always be questioned and often challenged. America as a political entity has nothing to do with what real people need and want. Witness the mess we are always in the middle of!!
And of course its not just abut Iran.

It would be nice if the good Iranians would put an end to the bad Iranians and have Iran join the normal, modern world, and have Iran stop supporting Russia in killing innocent civilians in Ukraine in particular, or Houthis attacking civilian shipping.
If there are not enough good Iranians to topple the theocracy, then what kind of statement does that send to the rest of the world? You can empathize with the minority but that's about you can do, Iran as a state is still essentially an enemy to the west, and if the majority of Iranians are content with that, it's not going to change. And if Putin in particular is your ally, then yes you will be rightfully hated.

@PleasurePunch not at all, the creation of the state of Israel was just as much of a mistake as the creation of the theocracy in Iran
