What type of roommate moves in with you barely talks to you unless you mention food and tells you to knock on their bedroom door if you have something

To say?
Mardrae · F
That’s the best kind! I have a roommate like that too, only he never speaks at all. He pays his rent through Cashapp and we literally never see each other or speak at all.

Perhaps it is someone who sees "being roommates" as nothing more than a financial arrangement.
They're just a roomate so try not to take it personally. As long as they pay rent, all is cool. You don't need to be friends (I've been in a similar situation before. Yeah, it sucks and all because you think "how come we live together but this person is so detached?" but you remind yourself that you're not dating them and don't really neeed them, so...

He devotes his study of all subjects to deep understanding
His IQ levels under all stress conditions shall be high.

@KA9ha Not all roommates are still in college, many people share housing for economic reasons, and should be social with one another, otherwise the dynamic breaks down.

Thats exactly how I am when I rent a room.
I'm very organized, clean and pay my rent on time.

My room is My space and I enjoy my privacy and alone-time.
Had a landlord who just couldn't understand the dynamics and I ended up moving because of it.

As long as their rent gets paid on time and they clean up after themselves, I wouldn't care if I ever saw them.

Some people are introverted to the point that they barely talk

YOUR roommate.
Was the person your close friend before they became your roommate ?
StormyChan · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard not really😃
@StormyChan Ah, then that’s not unusual. You share a dwelling and rent—you’re not in each other’s business otherwise.
If it's your home, the main lease/mortgage holder, I'd say very rude, and deserving of eviction.
