I Wish I Had More Close Friends

I’ll start by saying I love my friends and I’m happy they’re happy, but I want to know how would you guys dodge the topic of relationships? They’re all happily coupled and I’m so single it’s pathetic. They mean really well but whenever I see them they tend to always ask how my dating life is going and I always have the same boring answer. Since I’m the only one though it’s finally gotten embarrassing. I don’t want them to feel like I’m annoyed or mad at them for asking, or that I resent that they’re all so happy, I’ve just gotten to a point where it stings to talk about it or hear them talk about it. How would you go about it, or how would you feel if you were the friends in this?
Also side question: my best friend asks me for relationship advice... probably because we’re so close. Because it makes zero sense why she wants my opinion on anything like that. How do I get out of that too without seeming like I don’t support her?

"Why do you always bring it up?" "Let's talk about something else" "you already know how it's going" "I'm not interested in anyone right now" Be honest about, but not in a mean way

Haha sounds like a good enough reason. I had friends who would ask me that too, and it is annoying.

It’s just really hard not to sound bitter, which is immediately discrediting of my opinion. I almost feel like if I say anything they’ll think that anyway @SW-User

@plutodarling Maybe, but they need to understand how it makes you feel. If you say nothing this will probably continue
