not a friend - actually my ex was a bit like that - part of reason why he's my ex!

@BondGirl84: What jerks some men can be!
My ex took cheap shots to get sympathy from other women. Those type have no loyalty at all.

@justmerae: yea no loyalty at al! yea I'm Indian but born & raised in Ireland (my parents moved from India to Ireland) anyway my ex who's Irish used to give off about my homemade Indian food (my mum taught me & i have been to India a few times & seen Indian cooking done by my relatives) - he used to say it wasn't like the takeaway in his home town - well of course homemade cooking isn't like a takeaway! Its better - that goes for any food! He also used to say it wasn't like Chinese food - its not meant to be & he also told me off in front of my friends, proper humiliation, when it came to Indian desserts - i said i wasn't a fan of Indian desserts & got angry with me saying i shld try something b4 saying i don't like it - i grew up on Indian food & Indian dessert but of course he knows better!

Someone who does not mind hurting someone for a laugh...I would tell the person how you feel about it when alone and if doesn't stop after that, then you may want to drop that friend.
not nice.. two faced i guess

An awful friend. Ditch that friend.

Depends on how they're laughing? In some cases I just join in with the bantering
