Friends but not ok when hanging out with others with you?

What is your impression if a friend who talk nicely when you are both alone, BUT, when other friends gathers they make fun of you and laugh at you.

Someone who does not mind hurting someone for a laugh...I would tell the person how you feel about it when alone and if doesn't stop after that, then you may want to drop that friend.
