It's weird when someone I barely talk to considers me their friend

Even if we might've been closer to where you would say we were friends at one point, we really don't interact a whole lot anymore and haven't for a long time. We're not enemies, but we've grown apart to where we're more acquaintances than anything else. I guess, I'm glad they still consider me a friend, but it's awkward for me that they do. That might be a bit mean, but it's not like I'm not pleased with us remaining on good terms with each other. It's just... we're not friends. 🤷‍♀

Some people see friendship as longlasting. I lost touch with my childhood best friend but i will always consider her a friend even 40 years from now because of everything we've been through. If i saw her now for me it would be like one day hadn't even passed .
