A friend wants to buy your art

I have sold a painting to a friend for almost half the price. Now another one asks for another piece. It's very troubling. I don't feel okay selling my work for so little. At the same time I don't know why but I don't feel good with the idea of gifting my work either. I don't know how to handle it..

It's more simply than you make out i think.

If you do your art as a commercial thing than that's it. Why should you give a 50% discount on your work unless you choose to?
