Anyone else have a friend who is really, really ill?

I have a friend with stage 3b inoperable lung cancer. He just finished his first round of chemo and radiation, did that for 6 weeks, and then went home where he became ill with pneumonia. He was hospitalized again, and then released to a rehab facility because his muscles are beginning to atrophy, and 4 days ago came down with a galloping case of C. Difficile. The rehab where he is staying is filthy with it, and the unsanitary practices are to blame.

I don't know how a weakened man, with lung cancer, is supposed to survive pneumonia and now this.

He sounds okay, on the phone, but I am afraid this will be the end of him.

Wow that is a very tough road he's on..what a soldier. How old is he? My sister is I'll.. undiagnosed with constant awful leg pain, stiffness and twitching 24/7😕She doesn't want to live anymore. It's horrible seeing her like this.

@Coralmist He's VERY strong. My father couldn't deal with the nausea from the chemo and just gave up, and the cancer spread all through his body.

I will say a prayer that your sister will find a doctor who can help her. 🙏
