Do wealthy people have REAL friends?

I'm talking Mega-wealthy people...like millionaires/billionaires. Do they TRULY have friendships? Or just groupies who want to hang with them because they're rich? Do they have "fake" friends who are also mega-wealthy who want to hang with them for social prestige? I guess that's actually a lot of questions, but thought it might explain my question a little bit better.

No. I don't think so. Or just very seldom.
Most of time is all about money. 🙄
@Loretta78 And what is your personal experience with the lives and relationships of the super wealthy?

@Pikachu I am as poor as a church mouse. Sometimes I even don't have enough money to buy food.

But I have some REALLY millionaires in my family. My godmother ha never asked in 40 years just once for me and her brother did not neither. Just one week ago my mother told me that they are actually my aunt and uncle. That's nice to know that after 40 years.

I just know that my godmother never really has worked in her life but lives from daddy's money.🙄
Furthermore she wears very expensive clothes, has lovers for her bed and drives an expensive car. May she be happy with that. 🙄

When I was a little child I had still another uncle who was a millionaire but very poor with friends. He had a huge villa bt preferred to sleep in his office because he was so lonely. And he died lonely. 😓
@Loretta78

That's sad man. But i don't know that money has much to do with being lonely

@Pikachu Money can't buy friends - no TRUE friends.
@Loretta78

Well that's true enough. But i'm sure you can rent them lol

Loretta78 · 46-50, F
@JohnOinger You will have only a few true friends from your past when you was still a very normal person.
