We should totally be able to disagree and still be friends - it was that way for many years and dropping friends due to political opinions has become much more common since Trump appeared...that's a clear and compelling reason why populism has to go and return to conservative and liberal debates need to resume...Also - I'm a stupid moderate so everybody hates me...🤷 IDC

maybe you'd be happier if you got into politics as it is you seem to wallow in dissatisfaction and grumpiness maybe you need to think about something besides yourself

Is it possible to find a good friend who is not judgmental while trying to impose his judgmental desires on those he wants to call friends, but he won't because they are informed and have taken a side?

Some of us follow politics but refuse to discuss politics online.

It's definitely still possible to find reasonable people. I never discuss politics with my friends.
