Are you a friends or a no-friends person? what sort of mindset distinguishes each (if there is a way to define it like that)?
I've been a no-friends person basically from the moment I was born into this world. I don't seek friends, or have any desire to have a friend circle or network. This is reflected in my life choices around hobbies, experiences, work, living, travel, etc.
I basically like to keep to myself and only engage with others when I have to, or (via stuff like volunteering), choose to. Being social is not 'natural' for me.
My second ex is the total complete opposite - she's ultra-socially immersed to the point that I found (and still find it now though I can ignore basically all of it) myself wanting to puke many times. I think this is one reason the relationship crashed and burnt.
If you're a friends person, can you understand the mindset of no-friends people? I think I understand the mindset of friends people, but it doesn't appeal to me. I'd much rather do my own thing.
