Stay or let go?

I don't think I need full honesty in much of anything. there are some important things that I'd need solid footing on, but I'm not sure I want full honesty in my life in general.

No secrets in a relationship, I need to trust, no trust no love. But in friendship, I can accept them only sharing the parts of themselves they want to.

Let them go

I don't think I have ever had a friend who wouldn't have some secrets. The only thing that matters is if something indicates that their secret poses some threat to me. If I had a suspicion they do some criminal activity or have an affair that could ruin a few people's lives, I'd be out. I also wouldn't want to be around someone who constantly censors oneself, severely limits topics we can talk about and paranoidly self-checks if they didn't say something they didn't want to reveal.

if you want it and they don't then they are probably not the person for you and you may be being played.. sometimes you have to let go and move on even if it's hard and you're still obsessed with them you have to have standards so you don't get run over in life

I would seem to me that if someone has secrets in a relationship then they do not fully trust and respect their partner. That’s a red flag. You are entitled to have someone that gives themselves fully. Of course it depends on the level of the relationship and what each of you want from it. Only you two can decide that.
