Always fight for yourself

So tonight I got to see something I haven't seen in a few months.

My buddy smiled and laughed. A real laugh too. He was happy tonight. Even the kids noticed a difference in him tonight.

I by no means am saying he's cured, he has a very long way to go in getting help and finding himself again but tonight a good start

Always fight for yourself guys. Always stand up for yourself. Fight for someone what will treat you the way you deserve to be treated.

@4meAndyou I know he was so nervous about filling a complaint but I'm glad he did. And he's going in today for a med evaluation so hopefully they change them

@geoam1 he is going to have his meds reevaluated today. I'm no expert but I feel like they need to discontinue his evening dose and put him on the pill he's taking the morning twice a day because it really seems to help him better

@YoMomma yeah having a therapist you trust and believe in makes all the difference. When I was younger I went to therapy but I pretty much just sat there and said that the therapist wanted me to say. I didn't have a connection with them and I really think they didn't didn't believe that they could actually help me so it was a complete waste of time.

@Cigarguy ah i see yeah i had to go to two of them when i was younger for anger management.. the older one actually helped me but the younger one was beyond useless
