Should I tolerate someone just because they are "real" ?

Would you put up with someone even when you're not genuinely interested just because they are a great person ? I find this guy death boring, but he tells me I should allow him in my personal space because he is the kind of person who will be there when I need someone. I've always wanted real friends. What do I do ?

Fuck no, if you don't like them. You don't have like them.

But then again some people grow on you. Like at first you don't like them and later they become your bestie.

I say give them a chance and see if they grow on you
