Very odd morning
So those pills do work but I don't like how heavy I sleep. I didn't hear Joel get up or leave. I didn't hear my alarm. I do wake up hearing my Buddy almost shout my name.
I wake in a panic, seeing him I think something happened to Joel
Dude calm down Joel is fine, but I know you're going to text him anyway. Star couldn't wake you up. Your alarm being going off for 10 minutes. So she called me.
I do text Joel because I had to and it takes me a few minutes to wake up
Hey do you have time to talk
Yeah give me 5 minutes. I go brush my teeth and use the bathroom and I find him outside with a cigar
Shit it's going to be one of those kind of talks

It's 630 in the morning I say
Do you have coffee
Since when have I ever had coffee. I have water and juice and tea
It's a crime to have a cigar without coffee or whiskey.
So I get 2 bottles of water and we sit down and commit a cigar crime lol
I gotta say a early morning cigar is kinda nice.
Then he starts talking talking. He apologized for the other day. He said he had a few to many drinks and said stuff he shouldn't have.
I just know how much you love that kid and when Joel said he'd go to his mom it just brought back some shit.
I don't think she would do that.
So about 10 years ago my buddy meet a girl and he fell in love. She had a son. He was 2. He loved that kid so much. Kinda the son he never had. They were together a long time and she was killed in a car accident. They lived together but they never got married. The father was still in the boys life. So when she died he took the boys and never let my buddy see him again. He'd been in this kids life every day for 5 years and he just took him. And my buddy couldn't do anything about it. It was hard on him. Really hard.
So I just don't want you to get hurt like that.
She wouldn't do that to me
