When you suddenly see a big X next to one of your friends names does it make you feel sad?

Aww, I have learned with here, you can't read too much into that big blue X. For some it's daily and for others who really knows. But I think there is a distance here always, so while they have appreciated and loved your conversations, you are not who they thought of when they left. So many people on here are looking for a life beyond and more from what they have found it could be a blessing in saying, I'm looking for that life.

Yes, sad for me. I can usually resist trying to talk them out of leaving...or into coming back, though. If they need to take a break or leave permanently, I know that would be selfish of me.

I like to.think they are just getting on with their lives and in a better place ..but yes I do miss them

It does. But I understand that we all need a break from here at times. It's when they stay gone & never even said goodbye that I get pretty worried.

It's not as it seems. It often happens when they log off as being on hiatus.

Some actually loggoff that way.

They just don't want their posts to be trolled while they are temporarily gone.

Not anymore.
Im kind of glad they have moved on, hopefully, to something offline with actual human interaction.
