I wish I had friends in my life who liked to read

I love to read. (Mostly non fiction but I enjoy fiction as well.) It is one of my favorite past times and something I spend quite a bit of time doing. I don't really have anybody else in my life who likes to read. Just like I don't have anybody in my life who shares my spiritual beliefs.

I talk with people online and that's nice. But I wish I had people around me.

I don't really share hobbies with anyone. Except for videogames. Sometimes certain shows. I don't know. I am just broody and moody tonight. Sorry y'all.

There are many who love to read. I used to when i was your age and younger.

True that it would be nice to have real friends with similar interests but then, lets also be thankful that this is a forum where we get what we do not in real life.

I have met some very nice people here. If they lived in the same block as mine, physically, i might not have been so friendly. Need to ponder on thay as well.

I read every night before bed. If it is a particularly interesting/exciting story I may do more during the day. Mostly sci-fi / fantasy stuff. Can't stand romance or crime stuff.
I want to read superman where he doesn't lose all his powers, but figures out the bad guys intentions and picks them all up and drops Rump in the ocean along with Putitin and Ding Dong Dung. Maybe he disables all nuclear bombs permanently and then we watch the world reaction. Wouldn't that be interesting to read.

I hate reading but weirdly I'm in the same boat, just with different interests. I haven't met a single person who likes to sing.

I dont read because i cant absorb it. Takes me so long to digest it. So it stresses me out.

Video games are fun though. What games do you play?

I wish I had people in my life who read historical fiction.

I usually have one fiction and one nonfiction book going all the time. The fiction is what I call "mindless drivel" since it requires no thought, but some of the nonfiction can be thought provoking.
