His real name is Gautier (French for "Walter"), pronounced "Gotye" or close enough.

Like Louis CK whose last name is Czekely, pronounced "see-kay."

Brilliant musician, that's his most famous song yes but all his tracks deserve lots of love. Hearts A Mess is my favourite off his first album
