I left my flat as rent went up over 25% this year
Shared with a guy but that didn't work out.
If @OldBrit hadn't "known a guy" who had a house to rent and he'd not been so generous I wouldn't have had a place.
Luckily I've just bought that off the landlord but renting is a nightmare in UK now. Dozens going for places, rents going through the roof etc etc
