Devote time for me, reaching out and be there with me. Little surprise presents are always welcome:)

I've no expectations from th friends
I feel like it's just one side
They don't care about me
Anyway I've just isolated myself so can't blame anyone anymore
But I'll feel special if they just remember me inside like
I do remember too 🙇‍♀️
Blondily · F
Be there unconditionally thru thick and thin.
@Blondily Good luck in finding that. People say they have unconditional consideration for you and that you'll never be judged by them. That's an idea. They may truly believe that's how they are with you. But when it comes to implementation - that is, when you show them a condition they take exception to or have a sensitivity about - the idea goes out the window, and whatever gets triggered in them takes over. THAT'S when you'll see how conditional their caring for you really is.

People have been indoctrinated to practice conditional caring as UNconditional. Until there's any sign of your not meeting their conditions, it's smooth sailing. But once their conditionalism is challenged, their judgments will show up, and you'll see how conditional their considerations for you really are.
Just call or write every once in a while. Recognizing my existence would let me know they still care.

Make time for me and then be present during that time.

I don't know about it making me feel special, but it might mean I am special to them.
Reject · 26-30, M
Friends can’t do that for me. I appreciate them, but making me special takes a lot more than a friend.

Depends on the friend, of course. But making time for someone is always something a good friend would do. Being a good listener is as well.
Listen when I need that.
It's not any specific thing. More like the whole attitude towards me that signals to me my importance.
Remember a few things I told them about, not confusing me with someone else.
AngelKrish · 26-30, M

Be a friend.
I'm not special and wouldn't want to be special in any way.

If a friend listens when I'm in need, I feel deep and lasting gratitude.
If they show empathy and understanding, they've won me for life.
KA9ha · 31-35, M
