I'm not so sure maybe he's in 60's,
@sgodblackaero I think 60's are a good age.

Degbeme · 70-79, M
ah... I`m not sure but her name is @SW-User 😬 *runs*

@SW-User Did you make that popcorn in the toaster? 🤔
SW-User
@Degbeme absolutely
SW-User
79. She'll be 80 in september if she survives her surgery tomorrow (yes, she's my grandma)
SW-User
@sree251 she's at such bad health she can't even lift her arms without losing her breath. She almost died 3 years ago due to the smoke from burning her dinner. If I weren't there she would have died.
She can barely even leave the house without passing out due to her poor health
@SW-User Prayers everything works out okay.
SW-User
@BrewCityBarfly thank you. Obviously I hope it does aswell.
HannibalAteMeOut · 22-25, F
Hahah so you didn't know? My oldest close friend is 27 and I've known her for 9 years.
@HannibalAteMeOut I knew he was older, just not that old. I guess I lost track that he is slightly older than my oldest Brother who would have been 79 this year.
SW-User
Hmmm probably in their 70s
Degbeme · 70-79, M

Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
I'm friendly with my in laws and my FIL is 80+
sree251 · 41-45, M
How old were you when he became your friend?
sree251 · 41-45, M
@BrewCityBarfly How many beers do you have on a daily basis? Most guys drink out of habit, and it can become a mindless unhealthy habit. I drink out of habit also but just one bottle in the evening when I am cooking dinner. I picked up the habit from an Italian chef whose fancy restaurant I loved going. He would come out of his open kitchen, now and then, to the bar and fill up his glass from the tap. Now, I open a bottle in my own kitchen when fixing dinner. Dinner would be with wine.
@sree251 I drink almost every day, the amount can vary. For better or worse, it's an integral part of my social life. That doesn't mean I'm drinking to get drunk. It's a reason I primarily stick to lite beers with a lower ABV.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@BrewCityBarfly My mom stopped me from drinking American beers on account of the bad stuff including traces of weed killers. Mass production to meet high volume demand is the problem. It's the same with the other grocery stuff in the stores. It's not just the alcohol. The Brits are downing beers and ales in high volume also.

I enjoy a cold beer; especially now, in the summer. Also, the company even if they are strangers. Going to my favorite bar on Friday nights on my motorbike used to be the high point of the week. Drinking alone in my garden is spiritual also. I swear I could feel God sipping right beside me.
JerseyGal · 56-60, F
I have friends who are married. He is 86 and she is 84. I met them when I moved to Florida when I was 23, so I've now known them about 31 years! 😯
@JerseyGal Awesome on all kinds of levels, including that they were in their 50's when you met them and they are still kicking.
JerseyGal · 56-60, F
@BrewCityBarfly Yes they are still kicking. They live in Florida, and although I no longer live there, I still keep in touch with them. They are some of the first people I met when I first moved there. I was there for their 50th anniversary... which in itself is also awesome!
Gusman · 61-69, M
My friend is 77. I worked along side him for 9 years.
@Gusman Geez, is he still working?
Gusman · 61-69, M
@BrewCityBarfly No, he retired 5 years ago.
We catch up for coffee quite often.
WhateverWorks · 36-40
🤔 one of my closest friends is so old I don’t actually know how old she is lol she’s probably nearing 70, but I don’t want to ask. I feel like it would come off rude.
@WhateverWorks Yeah, I get that. I don't know how the subject came up yesterday, cuz I missed how it started. I think they were trying to determine who was the oldest, and some of them have known each other since they were teens.
He was 39 but he passed away heart attack
@ExperienceDLT Sorry to hear that.
@BrewCityBarfly thanks
Yea it sucks cause i always asked his advice alot now dont really have anyone to ask
67ish abouts. Retired workmate
sree251 · 41-45, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Sewage work. Is it as bad as it sounds? Hope the pay is worth it and workmate retired well.
@sree251 it’s a awesome job and good pay 😎
sree251 · 41-45, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Good for you but I am riddled with doubts. The other day,after a bout of thunderstorms, sewage nearly backed up into my basement. The little bit of clean up was awful even though I believe it was my own crap. I have a back flow preventer.
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
I've had one friend 30+ yrs, we are both in our 40s
@RoxClymer Youngsters! 😀 I think it's cool that people have friends since childhood. All my current friends were met after HS.
Mardrae · F
84. My renter
SW-User
Yeah in her 70’s. She’s a riot and has lived life to the max.
@SW-User Same with my friend. In some respects, surprised he aged as well as he did.
SW-User
@BrewCityBarfly oh mine is aging disgracefully! She makes me laugh like no one else..so blunt 😂
Livingwell · 61-69, M
67. Funny as hell too. Still has it.
HotPizza71 · 51-55, M
@HotPizza71 Only thing I don't like about my friends in their 60's (and some late 50's) is most are retired or getting ready to retire. I have one friend who is 59, and she told me she's retiring next spring. Don't get me wrong, happy for them, just... aaargh...
HotPizza71 · 51-55, M
@BrewCityBarfly nothing will change,just have more time to see you!
@HotPizza71 For sure, except I don't have as much time to see them... 😢
