All my outdoor friends are coming back

My rabbit neighbors.
Carla · 61-69, F
My local rabbits don't go away in winter. They happily nibble the bark off of some of my bushes, when the snow is deep.
They also have eliminated any chance of finding the morels on my property, that I used to find. Fox population decreases, rabbits thrive.
Have you ever heard a rabbit scream in the night? It is blood curdling...
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Carla Yes same! The stay here too but I don't see them as much and yes they had a great feast on my shrubs! My neighbor's cat used to torment the rabbits and make them scream in the night; it is an awful sound. A couple of times I got up and stopped thecat.

@JimboSaturn i see them often, in winter. They come and nibble the bird seed that falls. I know it isn't good for them, but who am i to stop them?
What amazes me is that i have a portion of the back fenced in. It's chain link, with the smallest gaps at the gates. I've seen the younger ones go right through a link and the older ones through those tiny gaps.
The screams i hear echo from my way back. And i am certain they were final.
Nature doing nature...
I shoot rabbits like that with my recurve bow. They’re scrumptious 😋
@ToastyPickles I don't take wieners. Never have. Again, that's just you projecting your own prison fantasies. There's nothing wrong with being gay, but when you make it your whole personality, people tend to get turned off.
@LordShadowfire it’s just me teasing you a bit, little buddy! I’m just feeding off of your nonsensical posts with my own nonsensical posts. You really are quite sensitive 🤣 And there’s plenty more to this pickle than just weiners!
@ToastyPickles I very much doubt that a one-eyed pickle has too much more to offer besides dick jokes, but we shall see.

And it's not so much that I'm sensitive. I'm just completely honest about where I stand. I know honesty is a difficult concept in some political circles.

They look like snacks for many other animals.
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@Olderguy That's sad. ☹
Olderguy · 61-69, M
@perceptivei my only question is why is that sad? Rabbits are pray. That’s is why there are so many and the reason they are so skittish
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@Olderguy yeah
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Oh no. That looks like a domestic rabbit that was released into the wild. 😢 They have very low chances of survival.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@DearAmbellina2113 No thats a wild rabbit
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@JimboSaturn he looks a bit too fluffy/fat to be wild. 🤔
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@DearAmbellina2113 I know her. she is fluffy to survive Canadian winters

Nice. Do any of them let you get close enough to say hello, or do you have to admire them from afar?
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@LordShadowfire Mostly from afar . Sometimes they let me get around 6 feet to them.
@JimboSaturn Smart bun-buns. Never trust a human.
